Party Time

Remove the stress of organising your child's birthday party or special occasion, and let us take care of all the arrangements for you.
That way you can spend your time with your children and friends, and enjoy the day (leaving all the hard work of the preparation and tidying up to us).

A party costs £9.99 per child with a minimum booking charge of 10 children and a maximum capacity of 25.
This includes a two hour play session plus all the children's food and drinks.
Celebration cakes are not provided and so we are happy to recommend two cake suppliers if required.

On Monday to Fridays, parties can be booked to start any time between 9am and 3pm.
On a Saturday, the available party slot is between 12pm and 2pm.
We set up a designated area for the children and decorate it with balloons and Happy Birthday banners. Families are welcome to bring any additional decorations that they wish. (Helium balloons are an optional extra for which an additional charge is made)
The remainder of the café remains open to other customers during these times.

Private party hire is also available for the additional charge of £50 for the two hour slot.
Time slots for private hire parties are:-
   
Monday to Saturday - 3pm to 5pm

Sunday - 12pm to 2pm & 3pm to 5pm

We are happy to cater for any type of party and have helped celebrate not only Birthdays, but Baby Showers, Christenings, Leaving Do’s, Halloween (complete with Fancy Dress) and Christmas.

For thie children, our savoury food platters include mini sandwiches with your choice of 4 different fillings (e.g. ham, cheddar cheese, Dairylea, jam, Marmite etc.), cucumber & carrot veggie dippers and breadsticks with a dip, plus mini hash brown balls, mini pizza slices and mini sausages.
For pudding we provide cupcakes and mixed fruit kebabs, followed by mini jelly & ice cream in colourful pots.

Veggie options are available and we have catered for dairy free, vegan and gluten free families as well. We are happy to work with any special dietary requirements that you may have, although an additional premium of £15 may apply to cover some of the more specialist ingredients, e.g. gluten free bread etc.

We can provide food for adult party guests too. Our panini platters are £17 each and feed about 10 adults. Choose specific fillings from our menu or we can simply do a selection.

During parties, the cafe operates as usual so hot and cold drinks can be purchased as required. Party hosts can run a “tab” or allow their guests to purchase their own.

Kidplay Cafe also has a music licence and sound system for dancing, musical chairs or if families wish to bring traditional party games with them, such as pass the parcel etc.
